Our chickens have been reared on-farm, bedded down daily on fresh home-produced barley straw. The chickens feed ad lib on home produced wheat (grown to Farm Assured standards) and a specially prepared corn ration.Whilst not free-range, barn reared poultry provides high standards of animal welfare.They will have reached maturity as a traditional table bird, having lived much longer than a supermarket broiler chicken.
